McHenry County College (MCC) offers an exceptional opportunity through its Kids and College program, providing a diverse range of educational and fun-filled classes for students entering grades 1–9.​

Program Highlights:

  • Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025
  • Schedule: Classes are held Monday through Thursday, with morning (9 a.m.–noon) and afternoon (1–4 p.m.) sessions.
  • Class Options: Over 125 hands-on classes are available each week, covering subjects such as:
    • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
    • Culinary arts
    • First responder training
    • Art and theater
    • Welding and fabrication

  • Early Arrival and Late Departure: Parents can opt for early drop-off starting at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:30 p.m.
  • Small Class Sizes: Students are grouped by grade level in classes of 15–20 to ensure personalized attention.​
