Summertime brings thoughts of sunshine, water fun, cookouts, vacations, and summer camps. But for many families, it also means something extra special: Vacation Bible School – or VBS.
VBS is a beloved tradition in many communities. It typically runs for 3 to 5 days and offers kids a fun, energetic, and meaningful way to learn about the Bible through songs, games, crafts, and storytelling. Best of all, many churches in McHenry County offer their VBS programs completely free as a way to serve and connect with local families.
